Shipping, Returns, Refund & Exchange Policy
Section 1: Shipping
Section 1 A: Free Shipping
We offer FREE UK and Ireland shipping via Royal Mail for orders over £100.
Section 1 B: Delivery Charges
· For orders under £100, delivery to the United Kingdom is £4.50.
· For orders under £100, delivery to the Republic of Ireland is £5.60.
Section 1 C: Delivery Areas
We only offer delivery within the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. Unfortunately, we do not offer worldwide shipping.
Section 1 D: Delivery Times
Our couriers aim to deliver within 3-5 working days. However, please note that delivery times may vary for remote areas of the UK and Ireland, and bank holidays can also affect delivery schedules. If you have any questions about shipping times, please feel free to contact us.
Section 1 E: Order Processing
· Orders placed before 5:00 PM will be processed the same day.
· Orders placed after 5:00 PM will be processed the following day.
· Orders are processed Monday through Sunday, but orders placed on Sundays will be dispatched on Monday.
Section 1 F: Customs
There are no customs charges for orders shipped to the Republic of Ireland, as our store is based in Northern Ireland. There is no customs charges for order shipped to England, Scotland and Wales.
Section 2: Returns
We hope you love your new purchase from The Auld Forge! However, if you need to return or exchange an item, please read the details below:
Section 2 A: Return/Exchange Period
Our return and exchange policy lasts for 21 days from the date of purchase. After 21 days, unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.
Section 2 B: Return Postage
Return postage is at your own cost. We do not cover return/exchange postage fees. If you are returning your full order and paid for shipping, the original postage cost will not be refunded.
Section 2 C: Starting a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at info@auldforge.com and let us know that you are sending an item back. The item can be returned either in-store or by a postal service. If you return by post we recommend using a secure, trackable postal service, especially for items over £75. We cannot guarantee receipt of your return, and it remains your responsibility until we receive it.

Section 2 D: Eligibility for Return
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, unworn, with the tags still attached, and in the same condition that you received it. We cannot accept returns if the item shows signs of damage or use, including but not limited to:
- Make-up marks
- Tan stains
- Perfume or smoke odor
- Deodorant marks
Section 2 E: Exchanges for Size or Fit
We are happy to exchange your item for a different size or fit within 21 days of purchase, as long as the item meets the eligibility requirements for a return or exchange. To be eligible, the item must be:
- Unused
- Unworn
- Tags still attached
- In the same condition you received it
We cannot accept exchanges if the item shows signs of damage or use, including but not limited to:
- Make-up marks
- Tan stains
- Perfume or smoke odor
- Deodorant marks
Section 2 F: Exchanges for Defective or Damaged Items
We only offer exchanges for items that are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please follow these steps:
1. Contact Us: Email us at info@auldforge.com to inform us of the issue and let us know you’d like to exchange the item.
2. Send the Item: Return the defective or damaged item to the following address:

3. Replacement Process: Once we receive the item, we will contact the brand to arrange for a replacement. The defective or damaged item will then be sent back to the brand.
Section 3: Refunds, Exchanges & Credit Notes
Section 3 A: Refunds
We are happy to offer a refund if you are not satisfied with your item. Returns can be made either in-store or via post (see Section 2C: Starting a Return for more details).
Once we receive your item in-store, we will begin processing the refund. You will receive a refund for the full price paid, but please note we do not refund any postage costs, including return postage (see Section 2B: Return Postage).
Refund Processing Time:
If you haven’t received your refund yet, please:
1. Check your bank account.
2. Contact your credit card company or payment provider, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. There is often processing time involved.

Section 3 B: Exchanges & Credit Notes
We are happy to offer exchanges for a different size or fit. For sale items, we offer a credit note instead of a refund.
The credit note will be sent to you via email (to the email used for your purchase). It does not expire and can be used on any item.
The format of the credit note code will be: AFCN (Amount) (3-digit number)

Section 4: Pricing
Section 4 A: Pricing or Product Description Errors
In the event of a pricing or product description error on our website, we may not be able to accept your order. If this occurs, we will refund any amounts paid, including shipping fees. We will contact you directly if this happens.
Section 4 B: Order Fulfilment
While we aim to fulfil all orders, we cannot guarantee that every order will be processed successfully. If an issue arises, we will notify you as soon as possible via email.
Section 4 C: First-Time Order Discount
We offer a discount for first-time customers. Upon signing up for our newsletter, you will receive a discount code via email. Please note, this code cannot be used on R.M. Williams Boots or items already discounted in the sale.
Section 4 D: Pricing Policy
Our prices are based on the official price list provided by the brand, ensuring consistent and fair pricing across our products.
